200th Post!!

WOO HOOO!!
Well this is my 200th post to my blog!
There has been a lot going on with me lately.
I have been really busy with work and playing softball here in Minneapolis.
This weekend I will be heading to Madison, WI for a softball tournament.
I will be posting more soon I promise.

Hate still lives in the twin cities..........

While over at JMG (Joe My God) I found this clip and learned that it was from here in Minneapolis. I had to share it with you. Look at how they harass the guy for blocks. Of course he keeps his composure and does a great job of ignoring them.
They say "I hate gay people" and "Gay is not the way".

June 30, 2009 (MINNEAPOLIS) Currently, there is a video on YouTube of an incident that occurred sometime during the Minneapolis Gay Pride Festival. There has been some speculation that Minneapolis Police Officers were in that video. The Minneapolis Police Department wants to assure the public that those security officers who casually walk by during this incident were not from our department. We have a strict uniform policy and those were not our uniforms or our police officers. This is unacceptable behavior that would not be tolerated by the Minneapolis Police. Action would have been taken immediately to stop the harassment that is depicted in the video.



We want all people, no matter of color, race, creed or sexual orientation to feel safe and welcome while they are in the city of Minneapolis.

Green Day Pissed at Wal-Mart

Well it looks like Green Days Latest Album "21st Century Breakdown" will not be on the shelves of Wal-Mart due to the parental advisory sticker it would have to have for having curses and some references considered about adult activities. Well I guess it is okay that Wal-Mart sells Rated R movies where there is full frontal nudity, violence, blood, racist, and cursing in them though? Where is it that you draw the line on what to sell and not to sell because of free speech?? Well to be honest Green Day they would probably sell your new album for $9.88 like they do all the other albums and you wouldn't get as much royalist from it anyways. I think it is good that Green Day has stood up to the big bully Wal-Mart.

Oklahoma House passes sovereignty bill

Oklahoma's House of Representatives is the first legislative body to pass a state sovereignty resolution this year under the terms of the Tenth Amendment.

The Oklahoma House of Representatives passed House Joint Resolution 1003 Feb. 18 by a wide margin, 83 to 13, resolving, "That the State of Oklahoma hereby claims sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal government by the Constitution of the United States."

The language of HJR 1003 further serves notice to the federal government "to cease and desist, effectively immediately, mandates that are beyond the scope of these constitutionally delegated powers."

The sponsor of the resolution, state Rep. Charles Key, told WND the measure was a 'big step toward addressing the biggest problem we have in this country – the federal government violating the supreme law of the land."

"The Constitution either means what it says, or it doesn't mean anything at all," Key said. "The federal government must honor and obey the Constitution, just like the states and this citizens of this country are obligated to do, or our system of government begins to fall apart."

The Ninth Amendment reads, "The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people." The Tenth Amendment specifically provides, "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

As WND reported, eight states have introduced resolutions declaring state sovereignty under the Ninth and Tenth Amendments to the Constitution: Arizona, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, Oklahoma and Washington.

Analysts expect 12 additional states may see similar measures introduced this year, including Alaska, Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Nevada, Maine and Pennsylvania.

2 Lesbians Kiss and get kicked out of mall in San Antonio, TX

Via the Houston Chronicle.....

Garcia said the officers — a Bexar County sheriff's deputy and an employee from a private security company — began harassing them Dec. 26 because her girlfriend gave her a kiss on the cheek while sitting inside the mall on a bench.

Mall officials said the women, both 22, were acting inappropriately and were told to leave because they were not complying with the shopping center's code of conduct.

Danielle Pardue, the mall's marketing director, denies the women's claims of discrimination and said security officers would evict anyone found kissing in the mall, regardless of sexual orientation.
